Fair, humane and just treatment of children and youth in foster care and the juvenile justice system requires advocacy that goes beyond ending harmful practice and dangerous conditions.

While Youth Law Center uses a wide and creative range of strategies to achieve system change, including litigation, policy reform, public education, technical assistance and collaboration; advocacy is at the heart of our work.
