Foster Love is a non-profit that makes the foster care experience better for the 430,000 children going through it.

There are over 430,000 children in foster care and only 214,421 licensed foster parents. This means foster parents and agencies are often left with limited resources. Together We Rise began as a sports camp offering after-school enrichment to foster youth who otherwise could not afford the activity. As the charity grew, we’ve tackled larger problems including access to higher education, emergency resources, and more.

Since 2015, Foster Love has partnered with private donors, college foster care support organizations, nonprofit partners, and government agencies to deliver over $8 million dollars in academic assistance directly to college students who have experienced the foster care system.
